Digital bank Revolut has reinstated crypto staking for its Hungarian customers following a temporary pause due to regulatory uncertainty. The service was halted on July 7 amid new legislation targeting unlicensed crypto platforms, but Revolut's legal analysis confirmed staking falls outside the law's scope.

Customers can now earn blockchain rewards through the app, with flexibility to unstake at any time. Other crypto services remain suspended, including new deposits, though existing holdings can still be withdrawn. Revolut continues navigating Europe's MiCA framework, seeking licensure to operate across the EU bloc.
